Day 01: Arrival in Florence

Arrival of guests at Florence airport and transfer to Forte dei Marmi (not included). Accommodation in 5 * hotel located in the region.
Possibility to rent a car for the duration of the circuit in order to move freely in the beautiful region of Tuscany (price TBA).


Day 02 : Florence

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Florence, one of the most prestigious Renaissance city and former residence of the Medici family. Guided panoramic tour (03 hours), with the main monuments of Florence (by own means of transport).
After a first stop at Piazzale Michelangelo to enjoy the magnificent views of the city, visit of the old town and then Piazza San Giovanni, where Giotto’s Bell Tower and the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore with the high dome by Brunelleschi, dominate the city skyline. In the same square you can also admire the Baptistery of Saint John the Baptist whose bronze doors are beautifully decorated. Possibility to have lunch in a typical restaurant (NOT included – price TBA). Return to hotel and overnight stay.


Days 03 – 04 : Free days

Breakfast at the hotel. These days will be at your disposal to relax and enjoy the hotel facilities. Overnight stay.

In option (NOT included – suppl. TBA), we propose to take advantage of the first rays of the sun on board a private balloon in Tavernelle. This way you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the magnificent scenery of Tuscany.


Day 05: Lucca/Pisa

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for a full day excursion (by own means of transport) of Lucca and Pisa. Guided tour of the beautiful city of Lucca, characteristic for its ancient city walls now turned into a promenade. A local guide will take you to the big and lively Piazza Napoleone, where you will see the monument of Maria Luisa of Bourbon. The visit continues to Piazza San Martino, the most characteristic of the city, dominated by the Cathedral and Belfry. In Piazza San Michele you will visit the homonymous church in typical Romanesque style and the ancient Roman Forum. In the afternoon departure for Pisa. Guided tour of the famous Piazza dei Miracoli, with the Baptistery, in Romanesque-Gothic style, the Cathedral, magnificent building started in 1063, the Campo Santo (entrance fees NOT included) and the famous Leaning Tower (exterior).
Return to the hotel and overnight stay.


Day 06 : Free day

Breakfast at the hotel. These days will be at your disposal to relax and enjoy the hotel facilities. Overnight stay.

Day 07: Siena

Departure (by own means of transport) towards the beautiful city of Siena. Accommodation in 4* hotel located in Siena. Overnight stay.


Day 08: Siena/San Gimignano

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for full day excursion of Siena (by own means of transport) and San Gimignano. A local guide will show you the superb town of Siena whose skyline is characterized by two towers, symbol of the city: the Tower of the Town Hall and the Cathedral dedicated to Santa Maria Assunta, whose inside is completely decorated in marble alternating light and dark stripes. Piazza del Campo, one of the largest medieval squares in Europe, is the centre of Siena, heart of its history and its life. It is here that every year takes place the famous “Palio”. Noteworthy is also the Church of San Domenico which preserves the memory of Santa Caterina: just inside the Chapel of the Vaults Santa Caterina took her vows. Possibility to visit a “farm” with tasting of wines and typical products (NOT included – price TBA).
The excursion continues in the direction of San Gimignano, a town surrounded by a wall of 72 towers built in medieval times by the will of the wealthiest families eager to compete with the tower of the City Hall called “Rognosa”. With a guide you will visit this charming town that has preserved the decor and atmosphere of Italian Middle Ages. In the late afternoon return to the hotel and overnight stay.


Day 09: Volterra

Departure (by own means of transport) for Volterra. Guided tour of the town where the Etruscan influence has left a mark of great importance, as can be seen walking the streets of the old town but above all by visiting the city’s museums, including the Etruscan Museum, the Civic Art Gallery, the Museum of Sacred Art, the Eco-museum of Alabaster. Free afternoon. Return to hotel and overnight stay.


Day 10 : Montepulciano/Pienza

Departure (by own means of transport) for Montepulciano. Visit of the city. Thanks to the beauty of its architecture it has been chosen as location for many films such as “The English Patient”, “Dream of a Summer Night” or more recently, “New Moon”. You will continue in towards the beautiful town of Pienza, also named as “ideal city” because everything in its disposition was studied in order to respond to the desires of operational and peaceful coexistence for the mankind. It is also known for being the birthplace of Pope Pius II, who ordered to build a cathedral for all his descendants. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.


Day 11 : Free day

Breakfast at the hotel. These days will be at your disposal to relax and enjoy the hotel facilities. Overnight stay.

Day 12: Arezzo/Cortona

Departure (by own means of transport) for Arezzo. With a local guide you will discover the main monuments of this charming city. The visit starts from Saint Francis Church with the frescoes by Piero della Francesca, representing the “Legend of the Cross”, the most important work of art in Arezzo and also one of the most significant of the Italian Renaissance. In the afternoon the excursion continues to Cortona, the pearl of the Middle Ages, situated on a hill overlooking the Trasimeno river. The visit starts from the historical centre: Piazza della Repubblica, where the Palazzo Comunale (Town Hall) stands. Then Palazzo Casali (exterior visits), the Cathedral (inside visit) and the Diocesan Museum, which houses 15th century works, such as the famous “Annunciation” by Fra Angelico and works by Luca Signorelli and Pietro Lorenzetti. The visit ends in “Via del Gesù” one of the most beautiful medieval streets of Cortona. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.


Day 13: Free day

Breakfast at the hotel. This day will be at your disposal to relax and enjoy the hotel facilities. Overnight stay.
In option (NOT included – suppl. TBA) possibility to have a typical dinner at the hotel.

Day 14: Departure

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure by own means of transport for Florence airport.
