Each year this Festival, the only one in the world dedicated to Puccini, hosts 40.000 spectators in an open-air theatre, not far from the villa-mausoleum where Giacomo Puccini lived and worked. You will benefits from the mildness of summer nights and, with only sky upon your head, you will fully enjoy the genius of this composer.
1st day : Pisa
Arrival in Pise in the morning. Lunch in a typical restaurant. In the afternoon, guided tour of Pisa, famous for the «Pendent Tower». Installation and overnight stay in a 4**** hotel, in San Giuliano Terme.
2nd day : Florence
After breakfast, guided tour of Florence, the «museum city», one of the most beautifulRenaissance cities in Italy, and home of the Medici’ family. You will admire the Place Santa Maria del Fiore with theCathedral, the Giotto’ Bell Tower, one of the most impressing of Italy, the Baptistery of St John with its three beautifully decorated monumental bronze doors. Without forgetting the Ponte Vecchio (full of jewellery shops), the oldest Florentine bridge.
Lunch in a typical restaurant. Then, you will have a bit of free time. Departure by bus to the hotel.
Dinner around 6.00 pm and departure at 7.00 pm to the Grand Theatre Torre del Lago Puccini for the Opera. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
3rd day : Florence
After breakfast, depart once again for Florence to visit the Uffizi Gallery, one of the finest collections of Italian art in general and Florentine in particular.
Lunch in a typical restaurant and free time to visit on your own Florence, stroll around the narrow streets, looking for local handcrafts and buy some souvenirs following your tastes. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
4th day : Florence / Departure
After breakfast, bus transfers to the airport and depart for your own country.
